ReasyNAS looses connectivity ....
I have a ReadyNas NV+. I performed a factory reset using the pin hole slot on the back of the device. Now when the device boots i can ping it momentarily then the message "Requesting IP ...." appears in the LCD display and connectivity is lost. I understood from the documentation that the factory default for the device is 192.168.168.168/24 and that DHCP is not active.
Why is the device assuming DHCP is active during a factory reset ?

- hegnerdAspirantI'll try to downgrade to 4.1.8.
Is there a way to 4k sector partition alignment with 4.1.8? If not will we be stuck with poor write performance? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredAn issue where ownership of files is transferred to the wrong user which would prevent access to read files or make changes. Data would still be left intact.
You just need to do a factory default after updating successfully to RAIDiator 4.1.7 or newer. Can do it on any of 4.1.7, 4.1.8, 4.1.9 etc (personally I wouldn't do it on 4.1.9 due to the ownership issue mentioned above).
