Replacing all 4 drives - ReadyNAS 2100
I want to replace all 4x 1TB drives in my ReadyNAS 2100 with 4x 3TB WD RED WD30EFRX - which according to the compatibility chart should work. I don't need any data to be saved and want to recreate a brand new volume.
I powered off the unit, replaced the drives, powered it back on into factory default reset. Then went into setup in RAIDar, clicked to setup X-RAID2 and then next and got corrupt root. I put back the original 1TB drives and they work fine.
Please help me figure out what I need to do to swap out all the old drives with the new 3TB ones all at once.

- de_niroGuideI would like to give you my suggestion for troubleshooting:
--upgrade firmware with old drive in the unit, this step is to make sure the image in flash rom is good
--put all 3Tb drives in unit then factory reset unit
--if above step fails, put only one 3TB drive in the unit and do formatting once again.
