resurrecting a RNV2-S2-0000
I found an old RNV2-S2-0000 that a co-worker was throwing out, and I was wanting to reuse it. bad thing is that it was only the box. I would like to know if I could buy the lockable trays for it? also...

Looks like your unit is running very old firmware. After logging into Frontview (https://ip.address.of.nas/admin) I would suggest you update the firmware, verify the firmware update was successful, then power down, put the rest of the disks in (if you wish to add any more disks now) and do another factory default on the latest firmware to get a clean setup on that firmware (as I suggested in my first post in the thread). A factory default on 4.1.7 or later will give you 4k sector alignment (important for when you want to move to using 4k sector disks - most 2TB disks are 4k sector disks).
