Upgrade from RAIDiator 4.1.10 to 5.3.13 on a NV+ (RNV2-S2-0000) ?

Hello,

on the back of the ReadyNAS NV+ (4 drives), I see the P/N RNV2-S2-0000, but another P/N if I search with the string NV+ : RND4000v2.

So is the 5.3.13 firmware for RND4000v2 good for the NV+ ?

If it isnt, what is the last firmware for the NV+ (4 drives) branded RNV2-S2-0000 ?

Thanks in advance.

  • The labels are confusing you.  Your NAS is a sparc platform and it is called an NV+ v1 here.  It can only run 4.1.x firmware - the current firmware being 4.1.16.

The v2 you are seeing on the back label means you have "hardware revision v2 of the NV+ v1".  An NV+ v2 (arm platform) would have -200 at the end of the part number.  Yours has -100.
