resurrecting a RNV2-S2-0000
I found an old RNV2-S2-0000 that a co-worker was throwing out, and I was wanting to reuse it. bad thing is that it was only the box. I would like to know if I could buy the lockable trays for it? also...
Switch from the setup wizard to Advanced Control then go to System > Update > Local etc. Instructions for installing firmware are in the Release Notes e.g.: http://www.readynas.com/RAIDiator_4_1_8_Notes
After you've updated the firmware, verified it was successful and done a factory default I would then go through the setup wizard. No need to do the wizard now when you'll need to do it again after the factory default.
