RN102 - Blinking power light and no disks detected (OS 6.6.1) 1.3TB of data on discs
RN10200
Firmware 6.6.1
No disks detected
NAS over 2 years old
Cant login to admin panel
Have been having issues for a few days. Admin panel dropping out.
Was trying to create a USB backup .... isn't it always the way.
Now doesn't seem to be booting?
I know it's Easter long weekend, and delays will be expecetd in responses.
I have tried the reinstall OS using the reset and power on procedure, pressingbackup button until disk 2 is lit, then press reset again with no luck.
I am now at a loss with what is next,
RAIDar says no disks detected.
It has an ip address in RAIDar.
I am fairly computer literate and have some idea about networks, but no expert and certainly no linux knowlegde.
Have never done SSH or know what it means ... :)
I hope someone can help get me access to my data again. The irony! I just learned RAID is not a backup, and so was in the process of trying to set up backups to an new external USB I bought, and that's when things started to go wrong.
ANY assistance would be greatfully received as I currently have no path forward. I am a teamviewer user as well.
Thanks

I have put it into read only mode and haphazardly get access to the admin panel. But that drops out like before.
At least it is seeing disks now!

That's good.
I suggest backing up the files over the network (connecting the USB drive to a PC). This works best if the PC is connected with wired ethernet. Drag/Drop is ok, but a copy utility that verifies would be better. Teracopy is one freeware PC tool that can do this, there are others.
Once the data is safe, we can then figure out your best option. One approach is to just do a factory reset and rebuild the NAS (restoring data from the backup).

Same version of software and same problem as OP. I'm happy to lose the data on the drive for now, but the factory reset did not work :( anyu ideas?
