RN102: No admin access after Uninstall of Bzeetr

Uninstalled Bzeetr and now cannot access admin page on RN102.

Windows IE 11 diagnostics says RN103 is not setup for HHTPS or HTTP access

I can still access the shares and files via Windows explorer.

I have tried a cold reboot, and also tried a firmware reinstall.

  • I would assume that your RN102 is on FW v6.2.2. This is a known issue with firmware version 6.2.2 wherein the web-GUI goes inaccessible after uninstalling Apps. It would be best that you contact Netgear Support so that they could help you gain access to the web-GUI of your RN102 again: http://support.netgear.com/general/contact/#tab-call

The reason behind this is that Apache could not start because of sites-enabled which contained “.conf file” left by the App after its been uninstalled. To solve this, a telnet/SSH access to the NAS is needed and that “.conf file” should be removed then restart Apache and the web-GUI of the NAS will be accessible again.

This issue is already addressed by a new Beta Firmware as per this forum link: viewtopic.php?t=78866
