RN104 Degraded after upgrade to 6.9.3

I've just done a firmware update to 6.9.3 on my ReadyNas 104. Before the upgrade the Staus was shown as Healthy but after the upgrade it is shown as Degraded. The Data shows 3.34Tb free of 10.90Tb which doesn't seem to be different to before the upgrade. I have tried restarting but it makes no difference.

Will this sort itself out or do I have to do something to return it to Healthy?

Thanks for any help

  • Hi Spanfan,

You will still be able to use the NAS with the 3 drives in. Once you you have the new drive plug it in on bay 4 and the NAS should automatically rebuild the RAID.

Hopefully you can get a good backup of your data for protection.

    Regards

    Hi Spanfan

    Welcome to the Community!

Are all your disks still showing on the Admin page? You may want to check on the disk status by hovering on them. There is a possibility that there were failing disk/s before you have proceeded with the update.

Kindly send in the logs so we can check :)

    Regards

      Hi marc,

Three of the discs are coloured blue the fourth is grey (slot 4x1)

Hovering over the grey one shows an ATA error 41160 all the blue ones have ATA error 0

Apart from that the data is the same for all drives

      Thanks

      Spanfan
