Yes, I should have said that. With the disks pulled, i get an error. With the disks in, numbers 1-4 and the blue led to the right are on CW, the power button is blinking and the text display says "Booting ... 0%" It has been like that two days now. It did not do this before the firmware upgrade. It would show the disks and say there was no volume. I could view the log then, not now. Unfortunately i did not save a copy.

Do you have backup of the data?
Check if you can download the logs from RAIDar.
Upload it to wikisend.com and send me the download link.

I was able to retrieve logs with RAIDar but am having trouble uploading to Wikisend ("We are sorry, but an error has occured while uploading.")

You have huge spin retry counts on your disks (see smart_history.log). This may suggest failing disks. Have you powered down, and removed the disks (label order) and hooked the disks up to a PC and tested their health using the disk vendor's tool?
