Was the NAS protected by an UPS and shut itself down gracefully when the UPS ran down, or did it shut down suddenly? If the former, then you problem was most likely not cause by "a power outage", but simply by a power cycle. If the latter, it could be that the OS on the drives is bad rather than the hardware. Whichever the case, try booting it with no drives and see if RAIDar shows it with a "no disks" status.
