RN4220 and the FOURTH complete data loss for TWO years

Hello NTGR team and customers.

 

I would like to tell you a failstory.

couple years ago I was looking for a BIG NAS to store backups of my company data.

I'd already had several old RND Pro 6 boxes and chose 4220x with 12 4Tb WD RE HDDs.

price was 10k$ without HDDs.

just from the begining I faced with RND OS6 and problems. you can read about it here

and now I've lost my data once more. the FOURTH TIME! EACH SEVERAL MONTHS I'M LOSING ALL MY DATA.

slapping admin page and no SMB/iSCSI acces to all my 25TB of data.

it's lost, complete and 100% lost.

 

hate you, NETGEAR.

make some home crap and nothing more.

 

  • I obligated to thanks NTGR for help - this time was no data loss and only three days spent to fix problem.

    The last case I see on your account is from over a year ago.

    If you have a case open can you let me know the case number?

      I don't have the sureness. this is the main point - I need sureness, not support chatting. feel the difference.

      anyway, I have no more room to copy over data.
