RN516 - Management service offline after 6.4.0 update

Dear all,

 

Since 6.4.0 update I have issue and now :

 

Management service is offline

 

:(

 

Somebody can help me because can't do reset factory due to backup is not uptodate.

    Hi

     

    I contacted Netgear Support : they solved my problems on RN516 since 6.4.0 update. :)

     

    Then do the same contact them :)

      Management Service is Offline is caused by the service readynasd not being started. If it has a problem being started, then the UI will not work properly and most things will be unavailable. There are many factors that may cause this to happen.  If you have SSH enabled, dig around and see what it says about readynasd system (try systemctl status readynasd)

        I have a ReadyNas 102. Since the update from 6.2.5 to 6.4 it worked fine.

        I also tryed to reinstall 6.4 vie USB-Stick, but nothing changed.

  • I have also flashing light after update 6.4. Management service offline. RN102 with 2x1 TB HD. No solutions by far?

      I still have the Problem. I can see the Volumes under Windows and browse the Directorys but i cant use (read, copy, move,delete) Files.

      So it is un usable :manmad:

       

      I have made a zip-file with the logs. Is there a way to upload them, so somebody can analyze them if it is helpful ?
