RNDP6310 stuck in "BOOT MENU"

Thanks, I conducted some more tests and found the following:
I swapped the RAM between the slots and tried each of the sticks on its own in one slot. No improvement.
I removed the daughter board containing the network ports and the reset button.The unit failed to boot without the board but the symptom was different (It got stuck on "ReadyNAS" and not on "BOOT MENU")
I measured across the reset button pins and it measured 94 ohms open and 0 ohms closed. 94 seems quite low but I don't know what other components are across the circuit.
I'm building a console cable now to see if there's any meaningful output when it gets stuck.
