Click on the RN104 share settings, and select "network access". Then click on the "rsync" tab. You enable read/write access for rsync there.

That's great, I have made the change and successfully run backup job :smileyhappy:
It's actually the same as OS 4, buried a little more and my memory had forgotten what I did about 7 years agoi when I set up the Duo's
