Setup for 314 with WD Red 6 tb
I'm considering picking up the 314 4 bay with 4x 6tb WD red drives. Couple of questions please: 1) for XRaid2, will I have 18 gigs avail. as 1 volume? 2) If I go for the 516, Can I initially build...

So I ordered the 316 and 4x6tb WD reds.
I'll begin with that for the 10.9 TiB with RAID6.
Then add two more at later date for the full 21.8 TiB. That will work, right?
Also when I get my 316 and the 4x6tb, anything special I need to do first?
I hoping I can just load the 4 drives directly into the unit, power it on and let it build.
(or do I need to load the drives, interrupt it during build, do a firmware update and reset?)
