No. Just give the ReadyNAS an IP address that is not assigned to one of your other devices. Just say your client PC has the IP address 192.168.0.20 you could give the ReadyNAS a memorable IP address 192.168.0.100. The first three numbers must be the same as the other devices on your network, but the last number must be different (as in the example I just gave).
