Simple question: need answer fast PLZ
Hello,
On a ReadyNAS Pro, does the Factory default option resync the drives?
This is not documented anywhere.
And I have 6 X 3TB HDDs, so it will take days.
Is there any way I can reset:
- users
- groups
- shares
- permissions
without resyncing all my drives?

a factory default erases everything, data and config, and does a resync to generate the nessecary parity data.
I would not expect it to take days, perhaps 8 to 24 hours depending on the speed of the drives and whether you're trying to read/write during the resync.
