Slow Write Speed
I have a Ready NAS 102 with the current firmware 6.6.0 It is connected to my Netgear Router D6200 via Gigabit Ethernet and my laptop is physically next to it, I connect either via WiFi or Ethernet, the laptop has a A10 AMD processor. Copying files from the laptop to the NAS gives me speeds of around 4MB/s as reported by Windows 10. Every so often the spedd slows or stops completely, then starts up again to the 4MB/s. Any ideas why this is so and if there is a solution to fix this?

Wifi speed sounds typical.
Ethernet speeds sounds like there's a link on the path that is running fast ethernet, and not gigabit

Well, the slowdown could be something on either the PC or the NAS. It's best to troubleshoot using ethernet (where you should see much faster speeds than 4 MB/second).
Try installing NasTester ( http://www.808.dk/?code-csharp-nas-performance ) and let us know what speeds it reports over ethernet.
