Hi cero,
I think it might be best if you can send your logs first.
How do I send all logs to ReadyNAS Community moderators?

Hello
I have joined the logs of my RN104 with SMB issues after reboot according to instructions.
Note that the problem of SMB button turned to grey instead of green happened on Dec 24th, Dec 30th, Jan 1st and Jan 2nd between 22h (time of powerOn) and 23h59. (I receive an alert at 23h59 when my backup program can't access the NAS using SMB).
Thanks for help

Can you go to System > Settings > Support, enable Secure Diagnostics Mode and let me know the 5-digit number that you then get?

Do you still see this on ReadyNAS OS 6.6.1?
I see you have a lot of snapshots on this system.======================================================
Hello mdgm,
Thanks for your answer, this NAS (located in FRANCE) indicates it's up to date, I suppose 6.6.1 is not yet on update servers, I will wait until it is proposed automaticaly and also I will wait à few weeks until I read comments of the community about this new release. In fact every ReadyNas update brings it 's lot of problems and here we are tired of spending hours of reserch to fix all our customers ReadyNAs (slow acces, antivirus problems, no domain AD, SMB access and so on .....).
Concerning the snapshots I have deleded some of them but they are not so numerous and if this feature cannot be used on ReadyNas then Netgear should advice users not to use them !!
By the way, deleting snapshots has no effect on the space they use as reported by the gui ! Is this a normal behaviour ?
Today I re-enable the Cron PowerOn PowerOFF so this NAs will only be available during the night from 1h to 5h GMT. I will report if the SMB problem still exists after Snapshots deletion.
