Snapshot recovery mode does not give destination pop-up
As per OS 6.4.1 Software Manual and Knowledge Base (http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/23403), restoring individual files and folders should prompt for destination. I am not getting the destination pop-up, but the system is doing *something* immediately, as I do get this pop-up:
- The selected file is being restored now.
...and then this alert:
- File restore from snapshot has completed
Why no destination pop-up, and where is the file being restored to?!
ReadyNAS 104
firmware: 6.4.2

Hello capaz,
Welcome to the community!
I am getting an error when getting to the KB article you posted.
It should be this: How do I browse snapshots using the recovery mode on my ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system? for OS6 units.
If you are not getting a pop-up window, please make sure you disable any pop-up blocker of the web browser. You may also try another web browser to check.

Thank you for the reply.
Sorry for the broken link -- the document you correctly linked is the one I was referring to.
As for the "pop-up" destination dialog that we're discussing, I don't think it's a browser-level-pop-up-into-a-new-window that can be blocked by the browser, but rather an in-page thing, just like all the other "pop-up" elements in the ReadyNAS admin page interface (which are all working fine for me).
Nevertheless, I did try your suggestion and tried three different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, & Safari), all with their built-in pop-up blockers disabled -- same result: the immediate in-page "pop-up" that says "The selected file is being restored now."
Any other suggestions?
thanks,

Hello capaz,
Can you update to the new release 6.5.0?
ReadyCloud accounts (including your invited users) need to be upgraded to MyNETGEAR accounts. ReadyCloud is now exclusively available for 6.5.0 and will no longer be available to lower FW versions.
Please have a read of ReadyCLOUD to MyNETGEAR Single Sign-On FAQ
