Strange issue. My Sparc unit thinks it's an x86?
I was trying to get RN Photos working a few days/weeks ago, but in doing so hit a problem. Namely this: Uploaded with ImageShack.us I had some time today, so sat down to look at this again...

A firmware re-install requires powering down the NAS and using a paperclip. Installing firmware over the top of itself via Frontview is not a true firmware re-install. It may fix some problems, but not as many.
Yes, I know that. I think I said as much in the OP. Unfortunately it looks like I'm running out of options though so will have to relent and get the ladders out. :evil:
