I Fixed It! It seems like the sharing permissions got screwed up (not sure how that happened, but whatever) this fixed it:
Login to the readynas. Go to Shares, then Share Listing. Click NFS next to the share you need to fix. The choose the Advanced Options tab and check the box Set ownership and permissions... that reset all the permissions and made everything work again. Proceed with caution though if you have an advanced set up, since this will reset it. Hope this helps anyone else with this problem!
