Symform keeps uninstalling
Getting to the end of my tether with this one. I have been using Symform quite happily for about 4 months until about a fortnight ago. Since then It has auto uninstalled itself at least 3 times. Can anyone offer advice on why it keeps doing this, how to stop it or a suitable (not too expensive) alternative for backing up data remotely?
Any help/advice much appreciated.
Thanks

The Genie Marketplace seems to be the common issue in all the issues. For some reason, apps installed via Genie are uninstalling themselves overnight. There has been no acknowledgement by NETGEAR on here yet for the issue. You will likely have to contact Support (phone support past 90 days has a $fee, online via email is free).

viewtopic.php?f=36&t=70791 - ihartleyTutorI noticed Netgear pushed out updates recently that cropped on my v2 and reset some settings. Since then I also have problems with symform. But I don't think it's uninstalled - you can restart it with /opt/symform/Symform(can't remember) restart.
Check your cron jobs that it's in there and in init.
Hope that all makes sense. - tys_leeAspirantThanks for the advice but it seems to be uninstalled for me, at least I don't have a opt/symform folder anymore which I take as having been uninstalled.
Currently responding to support request from Netgear, lets see what happens. - b2thetAspirantThe uninstalling is happening to all my apps that I have installed via Genie. Thais is some serious BS Netgear! I want my $2k back that I spent on this RND516 that hasen't worked correctly since day one.

At this point, its not the apps, but the system itself. NTGR needs to communicate if the issue is being addressed. All add-ons appear to be affected right now.Darth Vader wrote: Please understand that ReadyNAS is just hosting the app, so if you have any issue with the app itself, please contact the developer (Author). - Darth_VaderNETGEAR Employee RetiredThis is not an app issue and we are working hard to resolve it. Genie team is deploying a new build to resolve this problem today. Please try again later.
