Thank you for following up. Yes, I did see it with 6.10.8. That is why I did upgrade to 6.10.9, but I still did see it happening.

This is with an APC UPS? I am using an APC UPS with my RN526x, and am not seeing these errors. The model is different though - the NAS lists it as "Back-UPS XS 1500M".
I've seen something similar with a CyberPower UPS, but just ignored it. The NAS still managed to do a clean shutdown when the battery in the UPS drained. I didn't see any evidence of the NAS "stalling" in my case. Perhaps try disconnecting the cable for a while, and confirm that the "stalling" is linked to the UPS connection.
You could try a different USB port on the NAS. If you have other USB devices connected to it, you might also try disconnecting them, and see if that makes any difference.

I have stopped Plex App (only one running) and I have stopped the generation of snapshots. I rebooted the NAS and for the past 5 days is up and running, without any UPS error message in the log. If in the next 5 days still OK, I will re-enable Plex and see.

Sorry for not updating sooner. After a number of tests and running for weeks with or without Plex, I can say for sure the message is caused by Plex. It seems that every time a background job starts may actually trigger that message. Not sure how, but with Plex down I did not get the message for a month. Maybe the NAS is too old for the latest versions of Plex.
