How exactly do I go about doing a TFTP recovery before I consign my NV+ 4000 to the bin. I''ve tried USB recovery but that just hangs so TFTP is my last option. I have downloaded all teh files a...

Yes I tried a few different ones.
I noticed after further tests that the Ip address does indeed stay at 192.168.125.1 when I connect my other nas to the pc directly therefore can only assume the Ethernet jack is bust on the nas or the firmware is so corrupt it is not sending a signal to the pc which is why it is just looping back.
I would assume the latter as i cant usb recover either.
No idea how it could have got in this state but it is obviously not saveable.
