Hello bshannon,
What firmware version are you using with the NAS? I heard that 6.8.0 will have ReadyDLNA update. Have you tried the BETA version?

I installed the 6.8.0 beta and rebooted.
No change in behavior; my TiVo Bolt recordings are still not backed up.
What should I try next?

That 6.8 is not the official release yet, I may need to check this with others who can probably assist you and get back to you as soon as possible.
