Unable to Enable Rsync or HTTP Access
The setup:
ReadyNAS 3100
RAIDiator 4.2.24
4x2TB drives
My end goal:
I'm looking to setup rsync to mirror our one 3100 to a ReadyNAS 2120 to keep on standby as a hot spare. No complication in that I would've hoped.
The Issue:
When i access the web interface I can view my shares which all have CIFS R/W access enabled. Both HTTP and RSYNC are grayed out. When I try to enable either one of them (http for testing purposes) after I click apply I receive the following dialogs:
[*share name*] added with default access. Please review the Share Listing page to fine-tune any default settings.
And a dialog for every share on the NAS pops up which I have to click OK on, including the share that I was modifying. And after they are all closed rsync or HTTP is back to disabled.
I've tried creating a new empty share and I'm unable to enable it on that as well. The setting "Hide this share when a user browses the ReadyNAS for available shares" in not enabled on any of the shares.
The rsync service is enabled, however when I discovered the issue I attempted to disable it in hopes of restarting it but I receive the dialog "Error stopping Rsync service" but this does uncheck the rsync box. When I recheck the box, it says that it started successfully.
I've been banging my head on my keyboard for a while now so any and all insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredHave you tried clearing your web browser cache, closing your web browser, reopening it and trying again.
What web browser and version are you using? - GearManagerAspirantmdgm,
Thank you for trying to help me out. I was trying in all of the following browsers:
FF v31
Chrome v36
IE 9
All browsers were experiencing the same issue. However, I managed to solve the strange issue. Following the end of the work day yesterday I simply rebooted the NAS. This morning I tried to disable the rsync protocol which issued the same message "error stopping rsync service" and then re-enabled it which starts successfully. I was then able to enable rsync on all necessary shares which no longer produced the error message of shares being added with default permissions! Very strange issue, but the box had been up for at least several months...
Thanks again for the help! - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYes, very strange.
I was wondering if the 4 GB OS partition was getting full.
