Unable to remove apps

This is the standard Plex app that is pre installed on the NAS
I attempted to update the app via the newer version on the ReadyNAS app website, however ended up with two versions of Plex on my NAS, neither of which would work. I was able to remove the later version but now I'm stuck with the older version installed but unable to be turned on or removed from the NAS
