Updating existing OS6 install on legacy units

Hello

Have two of these legacy units and still on 4.2.x

Searching the forum looks like very much success in upgrading to OS6. But finding it how to attempt this has not been fruitful.

Do I just download the INtel x86 version and unzip it load it via the web interface?

TIA

      Guide

Just wanted to add that I'm running OS6 on my Ultra6 (6x WD30EFRX 3TB Disks) since early last year and things are just getting better with every update. The latest upgrade from 6.7.4 to 6.7.5 fixed my last annoyance: Access to SMB shares from MacOS systems is now swift and smooth like it should be. Also mounting afp-volumes for bachups (TimeMachine & CarbonCopyCloner) is quicker. No mention in the release note about a fix in this area, but definetly something changed to the better.

Anyway, if anybody is wondering if it is worthwhile to upgrade legacy devices to OS6 I most definetly would encourage to do so.
