[UPS] How do I verify that my UPS is 100% working?
Hi!
This might be a stupid question but I just ordered a UPS and I'm wondering how I can verify that it's working 100%?
Let's say Frontview gives me the "green light", do I simply rip off the powerplug to my ReadyNAS to see if it shuts down safely?
Thanks!

- bbaraniecLuminaryThis is how I tested my UPS :) Since you have green light in Frontview it means that UPS is connected. So just rip off power from wall socket to UPS, not the one between UPS and Nas :)
Once it drops to 10% (there is setting in Frontview afair), Nas should shutdown gracefully. If not, you will still have time to plug power back. - XophileAspirantThanks, I'll give it a go ;)
After the UPS is confirmed working OK, I guess you should enable disk write cache? - bbaraniecLuminaryYes, you can do that.
