very slow install (resync
Hi I am new user of a ReadyNAS NV+ V2 4bay's
I have done the installation and have 2 3TB HHD.
now the nas is running resync and it's telling me it' will take about 8 hours.
how can it take so long time when the HDD's are emty there are no data on them.

- Syncing occurs at a lower level than the filesystem. The sectors need to be synced sector by sector to setup the RAID. The larger the capacity of the disks the longer the resync will take (all else being equal).
- is there a way to make it higher level speed so it takes less time or do I just need to wait for it to be done?
- You can slow down the resync by running unnecessary services or copying data onto the NAS (or reading data from the NAS). Best thing would be just to wait for it to complete.
