Wake on Lan and Link Aggregation?
Hi all I'm a bit of a networking novice so maybe this can't be done in the first place? Trying to find out if waking a Pro can be done by magic packet when using link aggregation? Have tested it...

Welcome to the forum Brian!
I've had mixed results with WoL and LACP. My findings are that the switch makes the difference.
With my Netgear GS724Tv3, WoL and LACP works no problem. But with the HP Procurve 1810g-24, the NAS won't wake. If I disable LACP, the NAS wakes with no issues.
Like you said, it must be the way the switch is handling the ports (and bond) when the NAS is powered down (active or inactive).
Link to my post about it too...
