Warranty for ReadyNas NV+
Hello, I have a Netgear ReadyNas NV+ purchased in December 2009 with a dead power supply. I entered a case with Netgear support, and they are telling me that the unit is not under warranty - however ...
At some point after the release of the NVX the warranty for new purchases of the NV+ changed from 5 years to 3 years. However if you bought before this change came into effect the 5 year warranty would be honoured. As well as the warranty period becoming shorter the price of the NV+ also fell significantly.
