- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWell it's only important if you are using an app that expects the default password. If you don't intend to use apps such as Photos II then changing the password is a good idea.
- xeltrosApprenticeWhat I meant is that I didn't know that photos was using MySQL.
I tend to change default passwords whenever possible, like everyone should. That said, I'm not sure how the MySQL DB is set here, it may not listen to the network request. But if it is, letting the blank password is pretty dangerous. Particularly if all ports are forwarded from internet directly to the NAS... - Marto731AspirantHi,

I have created a default web share and pointed http to it. But how am I supposed to get from there to the wordpress home page? Right now it will only see the default index.html I have placed in that we directory. Is there a trick to redirecting the http to the wordpress app (/apps/wordpress)?
