- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhat firmware version are you running on the NAS?
What version of Mac OS X? - platini76Aspirant6.2.0 T 1286 and yosemite last version... but I remember that also with maverics and afp there were many problems..
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee Retired6.2.0 includes updates for both AFP and CIFS support.
Yosemite is still quite new so it's possible there could be a bug in it or it could have changes that can be addressed by further updates to AFP and CIFS support. - platini76Aspirant"I remember that also with maverics and afp there were many problems.."
IT IS NOT YOSEMITE PROBLEM,

can be a solution? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredLegacy authentication isn't necessary. We have updated Netatalk to a version that supports the newer authentication.
- platini76Aspirantin this moment I'm crazy! some folders don't give me permission to delete files from mac finder..
I know that I have to see on permission, but all things I do don't sort desiderate effect..
I have also reset all permission... but the same.. suggestion? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhat did you reset the permissions to? Which owner user and group?
- platini76AspirantYes I reset permission too.
last table in shared ->file access ->reset
now seems to have no more users... or it don't recognize users... and problem is obviusly not solved. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredOops this is on OS6. In which case I think the reset resets owner and group to guest.
- platini76Aspirantin 4.1 it resets only permissions... they have to write it!!!!
what do you suggest to recover users?
