Mar 10, 2012Is there another way ? Am i really forced to use my ups's usb cable with the NAS instead of my PC ?
Problem is that my NAS isn't on 24/7 sometimes i turn it off... So if i follow this guide and set up my things accordingly my stuff will be turned off only if the NAS is on when the power shortage happens :(
I tryed to link UPS and PC with USB, followed the guide and edited config to use WinNUT with my computer's IP, ran WinNUT as application... and then when i tell Frontview to use UPS from my computer's IP i get an error :(
