I have a ReadyNAS Ultra 4 ... i bought it only a few months ago, it's brand new and i barely used it Today i tryed to start it... The blue LED light and the LCD screen powered up, then it power dow...

You could see if NetGear could get a L3 tech to remotely login to the replacement unit. Getting the SMART stats from the drives using tech support mode should be very easy. It should only take a L3 tech a few minutes or so once they login to get that info for you.
Not sure about if you connect the drives to your PC.
