Yosemite: no Frontview and CFIS mount
Hi,
I'm using a ReadyNAS Duo V1 with FW4.1.14
RAIDar showed everything is fine.
I'm not able to access Frontview with my mac devices like Macbook pro Yosemite safari and can't see CIFS mount in finder.
Can only managed to access Frontview using my android phone chrome browser.
Pls assist.

I guess you may wish to power off the NAS, remove your WD disks and test it using WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics. - LoyAspirantHi,
I ran a quick test with wd diagnostics tool.
it passed.
still running the extended tests.
Wld ram failure limit certain use cases but not all?
Why does frontview load on my android chrome browser but not on Mac products, iPad safari and MacBook safari. ? - LoyAspirantThe quick and extended tests passed on my WD10EARS.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredRAM failure can lead to a range of issues. I think you've confirmed that the RAM is the problem.
The web admin page not working on your Macs may be related to the RAM failure in the NAS. - LoyAspirantOrdered a VS1GSDS333.
hopefully it can revive it. - LoyAspirantAfter weeks of patient wait, my NAS surprisingly recovered and Frontview appeared normal.
Now with the arrival of my "refurnished" 1GB ram plugged in. It is slightly faster in loading.
Phew....
