Netgear WAC120 - Maintenance Menu Missing after Firmware v2.0.5 update

As the title says. I went to upgrade my firmware to the latest version. As per instructions I upgraded first to v2.0.5 (maybe I already had - there didn't seem to be any way to know what firmware version was running). Result: no Maintenance tab. Only Configuration. SSID names changed, passwords removed, time reset to 1970 despite telling it my timezone: network trashed basically.

How do I get out of this mess, please?

When looking into the WAC120 https://www.netgear.com/support/product/wac120#download section, we find the current firmware version is WAC120 Firmware Version 2.1.7 since the year 2018. These release notes unveil a requirement to install 2.0.5 before updating further.

Formally, the firmware version is available under Monitoring -> System

Reads like this older firmware in place has some interop issues with the modern browsers

Have already tried to reset and drop your unknown Web browser cache?

Thanks. Yes I reset it. The issue is there is ONLY the Configuration tab after installing the required firmware.

Thanks for trying to help. I'm binning it and getting something more recent.
