I'm thinking about buying a mini pc. It uses WiFi6(802.11ax). Will it work with my Nighthawk AC1900?
If not, is there a way to adapt the setup to accommodate the connection? i.e. bridge the PC's wifi to work on the AC1900?
The whole point of this purchase is to get a decent cheap computer, but it is pointless if I have no way to make it work with the router/modem I currently use and do not want to buy a new one!
Thanks for your help and feedback.

That would be something to confirm with the Mfr of the PC.
However generally, most if not all wireless adatper are fully backwards compatible with WiFi 5 modes.
Just know that the C series modem does not have any support for WiFi 6 anything.
Good Luck.

I would make sure that the wifi adatper on the PC is backwards compatble with WiFi 5 (801.11ac) Most are. It would auto connect at AC modes.

WoW! Sorry to say I'm just a novice when it comes to the hardware aspect of computing. A lot of your info went right over my head!
I'm looking at this mini pc on Amazon. It's a Beelink brand. Unfortunately, I don't see where the type of info you are suggesting about the product's wifi adapter is listed. Some of the info they provide and what you could search for on Amazon to see what product I'm looking at:
Beelink Mini S12 Pro Mini PC,12 Generation Intel N100 (Up to 3.4GHz) 4C/4T, Mini Computer 16GB DDR4 500GB PCle SSD, Micro PC 4K, Dual Display, WiFi6, BT4.2, LAN 1000Mbps, Low Power Mini Desktop Computer
Why Choose Beelink MINI S12 Pro N100 Mini Pc?
➤System Config:
Model:Intel Minis Pro N100 Mini Pc
CPU:Intel Processor Alder Lake-N100(4C/4T,up to 3.4GHz)
Processor Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics
RAM:16GB DDR4
Storage:500GB SSD
Ethernet: 1000Mbps LAN
WiFi: WiFi6(802.11ax) Bluetooth: BT5.2 Expand Storage: M.2 SSD NVME Small form factor pc:4.52*4.01*1.54inchs
I'm no dummy (usually), but I just want to make sure I am not spending hundreds of dollars for a paperweight because I was too stupid to make sure it is compatible with my wifi system. Your response gives me hope that this may not be the problem I was worried it was going to be. I know Bluetooth works similarly with backward compatibilities. I sure hope you can confirm this with the Beelink S12 Pro!
Thanks!
