CM1000 Connection Issue
My CM1000 modem suddenly stopped functioning. For background it has been working and activated for a few months now until it stopped getting all connection today. The modem's LED troubleshooting lights display in a way I haven't been able to find any information about:
- Power - Blinking Green
- Downstream - Blinking Amber
- Upstream - Blinking Amber
- Internet - Blinking Amber
- Ethernet - Solid Amber
I've tried power cycling, resetting, using different coax cables and coax jacks but the same thing happens every time. I can't access the modem settings by connecting to the IP address (tried both the modem's and the one that Netgear provided on one of their troubleshooting pages).
Appreciate any advice

Re: CM1000 Connection Issue
it tends to indicate hardware failure.
What you can try?
When you reset did you have the coax unhooked?
Unhook the coax from the modem. Then while its powered on,push andhold reset for 30 seconds. power the modem off and continue to hold reset for 30 more seconds. Then power it back on, still while holding reset for 30 seconds.
If that doesn't work, its probably a hardware failure.
