CM1100 Intermittent internet issue with COX

Hello all,

I have been having issues with my CM1100 disconnecting from the internet. I have had the modem for about 2 years and not sure how long the connection issue has been going on. I called Cox and of course everything on there end looks great and they blame the modem. So I wanted to post some of my logs and see if the power s/n ratio looks good. Thanks in advance for taking a look. 😁

Power levels are way too high:

Any Criticals, Errors or Warnings needs to be reviewed by the ISP and resolved and power turned down up to the modem:

 

 

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. 
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem. 
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

ISP needs to bring them down.

 

Lots of Correctables and Un-Correctables that should be zeros. 

 

Lots of criticals and warnings that the ISP needs to review and resolve:

I connected the modem outside directly to the coax coming from the street and bypassed a splitter and here are the numbers:

Any Criticals, Errors or Warnings needs to be reviewed by the ISP and resolved and power turned down up to the modem:

 

 

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. 
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem. 
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

A cox tech was able to come out and reduce the signal. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
