HIgher speeds again on Comcast (1G and up)

If you haven't heard, Comcast has increased upload speeds on its mid-split network again, after a recent upgrade this year.

You can read about it on this Reddit thread, but the 1000/100 plan moves to 1000/150. The 1200 plan actually gets increased upload AND download speeds, going from 1200/200 to 2000/300. There will be no more 1200 plan. The 2G plan, 2000/200, goes to 2000/300.

There are other changes, as there are supposedly a consolidated group of tiers now - with download speeds of 150/300/500/1000/2000 Mbps.

It will show up on your account page/plan info if you have it. You need to be in an area where mid-split conversion is complete, and you need Comcast-approved mid-split compatible modem.

You may have to power cycle your modem to see it, I did.
