Help Xfinity modem and wifi purchase

I need someone smarter than me to give me some advice on purchase

I want to buy my own equipment and stop renting from Comcast

I will have around 6-7 devices streaming between tvs, phones/tablets/pc and xbox

I am switching to youtube TV

no comcast voice

3,000 sq ft house that i have trouble with signal now so i want to overdue this setup

i am thinking i need modem and a wifi system that has satellite for coverage

I want WIFI 6

I assume the best available netgear modem is the CM1200

What should I buy after that  orbi, nighthawk???

THANK YOU, from someone not very smart, but smart emough to ask someone smarter

Re: Help Xfinity modem and wifi purchase

I would go with the CM1000 or the CM1100 versus the CM1200.  Its more of a business modem than consumer. For xfinity, only ports 1 & 2 will be able to be used unless you pay for a business line/multiple public ip addresses.

The cm1100 gives you the same dual ethernet configuration incase you want to do wan port aggregation. I'd avoid it because it seems like many manufacturers have issues with it but the option is always there.

And I'd highly recommend orbi. I have the Orbi AC setup with multiple satellites and love it. I've never used the AX setup but the AC has been great in my 3200sqft home.
