I own a C6300 v2 AC1750 Router Modem combo and it randomly reboots
Hi,
My router has been rebooting almost every night, usually at the worst possible time. I'm not sure why so I printed the event log hoping someone could give me some direction. I was using a Motorola Modem without wifi and never really had these issues before. The last log was from the latest reboot.

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are not coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.

Re: I own a C6300 v2 AC1750 Router Modem combo and it randomly reboots
yes, too high Upstream power.
do you have splitters? If yes, Please remove it.
What do you mean by reboot? Is the whole box rebooting? or just loosing internet.

I don't have any splitters, and I'm getting a new coax cable. What else could be causing the higher power output?

Re: I own a C6300 v2 AC1750 Router Modem combo and it randomly reboots
Ok so checked and there is a splitter, but I think it's necessary since I have the modem and a DVR system. The cable comes from the call and into the splitter where one goes to the DVR and the other to the modem. I've replaced one cable and buying a new splitter hoping that fixes it. Is there a way to do this without the splitter?

Re: I own a C6300 v2 AC1750 Router Modem combo and it randomly reboots
Have the ISP put in a two dedicated lines, one to the modem and one to the DVR from there service box.
