In search of Netgear cable modem that will work with my TruVista Internet
I am in Georgia US and have TruVista Internet. They supplied me with an Arris cable modem with wifi/ 3.1 G that continuously drops internet and then I have to unplug it and plug it back in again. I've found out that this is a problem with Arris cable modems so they said I'm welcome to buy my own. I already have a Netgear router. My question is, are any of the Netgear cable modems/wifi compatible with my TruVista Internet? On the TruVista website they only list Arris cable modems and nothing else if you want to purchase your own. Surely their Internet service should work with other cable modem/wifi brands. Can anyone advise? Or where on the Netgear website I can find out if any of their cable modem/wifi products will work with my Internet service?

You'll need to first ask the ISP what they officially support before you buy something.
