Internet dropping
I recently moved into my gf house and the only internet service they have in the area is spectrum. The internet always drops throughtout the day. I bought a CM1200 thinking it will fix the problem. I was wrong. Only thing i have is my logs. not sure what it means. Hope someone can tell me how to fix this problem.

Re: Internet dropping
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.

Re: Internet dropping
Need to ask your ISP to check the line levels and signal going to the modem. Ask about a in line attenduator. Help reduce the power some. I have one on mine...

Re: Internet dropping
power levels are within spec but you have a lot of errors on your line still.
Any splitter, attenuators, amplifiers already in the line?
Also, are you connected right where the coax enters the home? Might be worth moving so its directly connected so you don't have to worry about the wiring in the home being the issue.

Re: Internet dropping
I'd check all connections/splits in the line. If they're not outdoors, I'd even directly connect and see how it works

Cable coming from the ground connects to the white cable. the white cable connects to the label green cable running inside the crawl space.

Re: Internet dropping
remove any extra connections.
Can you swap the crawlspace cable for a different connection to see if the crawlspace cable is the issue?
