Need a modem for existing router (xfinity comcast)

Comcast xfinity internet asks me to upgrade my modem (motorola)

Can you suggest a decent modem that would be compatible with ISP and router WNDR3700V3

   Not a very detailed description of anything.

   Define "decent".  Comcast should be able to tell you what its
requirements are.  Practically any modem should work with practically
any router, including the WNDR3700v3.

Good questions!

A message popped up saying i will need to upgrade to make use of the high speed they are going to provide. (similar msg came via physical mail a few weeks back)

I am supposed to be getting 75 mbps dwnload per my plan but when i check thru speedtest.net, it shows 60 mbps dwnload.

So i dont know if upgrading will really help get the full 75 mbps. Am not sure what their "going to provide" speeds will be.

My current modem is MOTO JRSB6121 which i recall they said they dropped support while i was renewing service during a cost negotiation.

My definition of decent is a balance of cost and ability to deliver upload and download speeds as close to what is on my comcast plan.

Which means lot of streaming and uploading files (for work). Honestly i am not sure how much of a bottleneck modems are for this but the online descriptions of the modem brands go by "up to download speeds" as a feature.
