Netgear Traffic Meter reads 2X what My ISP shows
Netgear Genie Traffic meter is way off. It reads 2x what my ISP reports. I have the Nighthawk AC1900.

AC1900 is not a Netgear model number. It is a label that Netgear, and others, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Your footer says C7000. Is that what you have?
If so, you might get better and quicker replies, and find other answers, over in the appropriate section:
Cable Modems & Routers
You refer to the genie. This could be one of several things, the browser interface, a Windows or Mac program for a PC, or a mobile Android/iThing app. Netgear labels them all as genies. Which are you using?
And what "traffic meter" are you referring to? Traffic or speed?

Re: Netgear Traffic Meter reads 2X what My ISP shows
The NETGEAR genie App shows the Router to be C7000v2. The traffic meter that I am referring to is the part that shows on a graph, the accumulated data used by month week and day. The data used shown in this app is 2 times higher than what my Cable One ISP shows.
The NETGEAR genie App with my old Motorola modem and NETGEAR router was within + or – 5% of my ISP in showing data used.
Thanks for your help.
