I have a Netgear C6300 wifi modem router bought in 2017. My issue is 2 days ago the WiFi stopped working. The light is off for wifi both 2.4 and5 wifi modes are out alsoand usb is off. What could be the problem? I have reset and rebooted the unit.
did you try pushing and holding the wifi on/off button for 2 seconds?
I did but it still says low data mode. The wifi lights are now blinking but not staying on.
What says low data mode?
the wifi lights are blinking? it usually means data is transmitting.
The settings on my IPhone say low data mode is off now. Now it says the device is currently infected with a Trojan virus?
could this be why my wifi is not working?
The C6300 has firmware from the ISP. Its not user changeable.
so I'm highly highly doubting it has a trojan. I'd be more concerned with your phone
